We’ve been fortunate over the years of having many talented people working for us. Some have gone on to become: Pharmacist, several veterinarians, radiology technician, firefighters/paramedics, managers, and even one lawyer. We take pride in what our employees have accomplished and are grateful for their working with us.

All of our employees frequently participate in continuing education to enhance their abilities to care for your four legged companion. Some of these classes are regarding: anesthesia, surgical procedures and protocols, radiology, dental procedures and protocols, laboratory efficiency and meaning, and customer service. We understand how important our companions are to us and how important they are to you.

Chasity, Office Manager, at Oro Valley animal hospital

Hospital Manager

Chasity joined the Sahuaro Vista team in 2017 as our hospital manager. She splits her time between our hospital and Pusch Ridge Pet Clinic. She comes to us from the Urgent Care world with extensive experience in marketing, training, and management. She is originally from Colorado and moved to Tucson in 2013. She transitioned to the veterinary world due to her love of animals. She enjoys spending time going to sporting events with her boys, traveling to Colorado to spend time with her grandmother, traveling with her husband, and studying.

Chasity is responsible for all non-medical aspects, if you have any comments, concerns, or complaints, she would love to hear from you in person, over the phone, or by email.

Customer Service Specialists


Janice, Customer Service Specialist at Oro Valley Animal Hospital

Janice joined the Sahuaro Vista team around 1991 and truly enjoys meeting all of the pets and their owners. She was born and raised in Queens, New York. After raising her children and volunteering for many animal welfare groups including the Humane Society her love of animals brought her into the veterinary field.

In her free time, Janice has many interests and hobbies. Having worked for a major airline in New York, she has never lost her love of travelling – and now enjoys cruising as well. In addition she likes to spend her time: dog training, dancing, yoga, zip lining, and skydiving.

She is fortunate to have her three children, six grandchildren and numerous grand pets here in Tucson so she can spend time with them.


Madeline, Customer Service Specialist at Oro Valley Animal Hospital

Madeline joined the Sahuaro Vista team in 2011 and has been our face to the client since then. She graduated from Pima with a BA in 2016. She enjoys spending time hiking with her family and friends, working out, doing makeup, and reading. An animal lover at heart, Madeline has many furry companions of her own at home. In addition to her three dogs – Isadora, Ruby, and Genevieve, she also has a kitty named Esmerelda and two desert turtles.

In addition to helping the clients at the front desk and over the phone, Madeline does the staff scheduling, manages patient charts, submits insurance forms, coordinates staff events (with her fellow crazy cat lady, Krista) , and handles most email communication.



Carolyn, Vet Technician at Oro Valley Animal Hospital

Carolyn splits her time between working as a Military Police Officer for the United States Navy, and Teching here at Sahuaro Vista. Her background as an State Certified Lead Animal Control Officer in Texas and Sergeant for Aransas County Sheriff’s Department opened her up to the world of animal suffering, and she decided she wanted to do all she could to help better their lives. Carolyn began her Teching career as a part time Vet Assistant in Texas in 2008; she moved to AZ to be closer to her mom, and has worked for a variety of hospitals (including PACC) before finding her home here at Sahuaro Vista in 2017.


Emily, Vet Technician at Oro Valley Animal Hospital

Emily joined the Sahuaro Vista team in December 2016. Recently graduated from the veterinary assistant program at PMI, she quickly picked up technician as well as reception duties making sure to add in some sarcasm to keep her coworkers in check. Emily always makes the day with her humor, always guaranteeing it will never be a dull day.


Krista, Vet Technician at Oro Valley Animal Hospital

Krista joined the Sahuaro Vista team in 2013. She came to us with extensive experience which began in 2007 when she graduated from a veterinary assistant program. She has been a technician since February 2008, and was also an instructor for the veterinary assistant program at Carrington College. She was born and raised in Tucson and enjoys spending time with her family/friends, going to concerts, karaoke, traveling, and reading. Proficient in dental procedures, Krista finds herself most frequently in the surgical suite. If your furry friend is having a procedure, chances are that this experienced technician will be a part of it!

Krista is our OSHA compliance officer, extern/assistant/technician training lead, inventory/ordering specialist, coordinates staff events (with her fellow crazy cat lady, Madeline), and is also cross trained to work the front desk.


Ryann, Vet Technician at Oro Valley Animal Hospital

Ryann, a recent grad from PMI’s veterinary technician program, joined the team in July 2016. She has brought a splash of sunshine to the team with her love for bright colored scrubs and every animal that walks through the door. She always looks forward to learning new things and expanding her technical knowledge.
